Your novice plate and parking contact card, brought together. A magnetic positioning mechanism holds each side in place, while the QR module detaches for life beyond your novice years.

Detach the QR module after your novice period and keep its permanent link and account. Replacing the N graphic or changing your vehicle should not require a new QR. Mechanical detachment still needs prototype validation.
Front plates have no light. Optional rear N lighting uses USB 5V (12V requires an adapter). Printed QR works without power; scan and lighting performance need physical validation.

Irish law requires novice drivers to clearly display a red N on a white background, at least 15 cm high, in vertical positions at the front and rear of the vehicle while driving. Use the QR side only when parked. Final dimensions, materials and mounting visibility require production validation.

Every FlipPing Tag or Plate includes all service features free for 2 years from activation: web messages, email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice alerts, anonymous calls, two-way number masking and temporary relay numbers, subject to usage allowances and provider availability. After 2 years, all-feature access is €4.90/year.

A temporary platform number is planned to relay calls to the owner’s verified number. Visitors dial a temporary relay number using their normal phone app. No phone number entry is required on the web page. Irish caller-ID behaviour still needs operator pilot validation.
The printed QR needs no power. Lighting is supplementary; scanning through angled or tinted glass and in low light must be tested.
Not yet. This is a product concept and interactive prototype. Hardware ordering is not open. Owner accounts, devices and events are available in this pilot; external notifications, billing and calling remain disabled until configured. Front/rear pack quantities and final pricing are to be confirmed.
